BRAND NEW iCAN 2024 "The 9th Edition" AWARDS

The Official Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals of iCAN 2024 are to be won by incredible inventors and innovators who will take part in this event. iCAN 2024 Medals are newly designed as nonagon shapes symbolizing its 9th Story Edition with Rainbow Jewel Pearls on Black Gold, Silver, Bronze Platings. INTRODUCTION

International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada, iCAN is the world-recognized premier event of Canada for inventors which has shown continuous growth and improvement since its first edition in 2016 through 2023. The last 8 editions of iCAN from 2016~2023 featured participants from 96 different countries around the world which elevated and redefined iCAN to become the ultimate global stage for merging worldwide creativity and innovation in Toronto, Canada.

This year, the 9th International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada, iCAN 2024 will be held online and it is our honour to once again invite you to join us, share your ideas, make an impact, and be awarded for your excellence in the center of multicultural mainstream in this global competition based in Toronto, Canada.

The main purpose of iCAN is to build a special platform to unite creativity and innovation initiatives of Canadian inventors with the rest of the world by providing everyone with the golden opportunity to expand their international network, business activities, promote their inventions, new products and research projects while achieving a new milestone of success of winning iCAN Awards from Canada.

iCAN is a colossal confluence of many favourable programs: invention competition, keynote speakers’ educational presentations, the Finals Movie and the iCAN Awards. Inventors, innovators, students, professors, researchers, scientists, designers, entrepreneurs, and anyone with spectacular ideas are eligible to apply to iCAN 2024 and take advantage of all programs.

* For your information, iCAN 2024 will be held online for long-distance mode (remote) participants only. There will be no physical exhibition or award ceremony in Toronto, Canada. iCAN tentatively plans to be restored back to offline mode starting 2025.

PARTICIPATION METHOD

STAGE 1: THE PRELIMINARIES (Required by All Applicants to Qualitfy in the Competition)

Act 1: Request for Files above & Complete iCAN 2024 Application Entry Form

complete 1 form (file) for each invention/project
make sure to fill in all required fields in the “Personal Information” Section
provide both written description & visuals (photos, diagrams, screenshots, etc.)
incomplete application forms are subject to automatic disqualification

Act 2: Submit Your Application Form by Email

submit the completed application form to [email protected] by no later than July 15th
receive a confirmation email back from the organizer after your submission
you will further receive Preliminary Result for Gold/Silver/Bronze on or before July 30th
qualified Finalists then decide between stopping at the Preliminaries, or proceeding to the Finals (video presentation required)

STAGE 2: THE FINALS (Optional Choice for the Qualified Finalists from the Preliminaries)

Act 1: Decision to Submit a Video Presentation of the Invention/Project for Competing in iCAN 2024 "The Finals"

Submitting a video presentation is an optional choice for all Finalists
Finalists who submit video presentations are eligible to compete for the Finals Awards
Finalists who do not submit video presentations will only be rewarded with the Preliminary Awards (Gold, Silver or Bronze)
Video presentation file must be submitted to the organizer by no later than August 8th

Act 2: iCAN 2024 "The Finals" Program & Award Winners Announcement will be uploaded on August 24th (on website/social media)

iCAN 2024 "The Finals" Movie will be displayed on website/social media/YouTube (to be further announced)
The Finalists' video presentations will be used for the Finals Movie and judging for the Finals evaluation for the Finals Awards
After the Finals, all participants will receive their Award Packages by international express airmail
All award winners of iCAN 2024 will be asked to send a photo of themselves taken together with the awards they received
iCAN 2024 Group Photo Collage will be produced and shared with all participants when everyone receives their awards
