Toronto International Society of Innovation & Advanced Skills (TISIAS) was established in 2013 to build a global hub in Toronto, Canada to provide a variety of services and opportunities for both local and overseas inventors, innovators, students and researchers to promote their inventions and products in the world market. TISIAS is globally active as the delegation of Canada participating in numerous international invention exhibitions, competitions and conferences organized by its partners around the world. TISIAS majorly promotes its Canadian and American members’ inventions and products to world exhibitions and conferences as well as some other international members’ creative ideas.

OUR MISSION

• Invite Canadian inventors and students to participate in overseas invention shows
• Open business and commercial opportunities to help inventors promote their ideas
• Build strong relationships with other countries’ invention associations, universities and innovation enterprises for active collaborations
• Actively participate in international invention shows as the delegation of Canada

OUR STORY

The society was established in 2013 by a group of Korean-Canadian engineering and economics students from the University of Waterloo and University of Toronto. Our group wanted to highlight inventing/innovating skills in a new way, not only of Koreans but also Canadians and others around the world. From our perspective and research, we realized that there was already a strong focus on an existing global community of innovators across Asia and Europe. We decided to look for and try to help more local creative people with inventive skills, talents and abilities, especially in Toronto and also Canada in general, who might be interested in co-operating with us. For them, we would establish a revolutionary new international inventions show in Canada that would place them on the world stage with many innovative people in other societies. Our goal is to continue to protect our valuable base as the global hub and portal for overseas inventors to connect their innovative technologies and solutions to be applied to the Canadian society.

Introducing our proud partner in Toronto Canada: Innovation Iniatiative Co-operative Inc. "The Inventors Cirlce" is the world's first inventors' co-op where we help inventors to introduce their ideas and receive consulting from our members, seek for potential commercialization opportunities and join many beneficial network of people with the art of inventions. 

The Inventors Circle is TISIAS' core partnering organization for our annual activities such as the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada, iCAN (being held in Toronto since 2016), welcoming the overseas inventors to Toronto, Canada to introduce their inventions and products to many audience of Canadian business enterprises, investors/buyers. TISIAS and the Inventors Circle welcome you to share your creative ideas!
