INTRODUCTION
The event aims to provide a global platform in Canada for inventors, innovators, students, professors and research scientists from around the world with spectacular ideas to grasp a special opportunity to showcase creative inventions, innovation projects and scientific research outcomes in this international event established in Canada. 2017 International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada, iCAN is the 2nd annual event which places main focus to offer a brand-new showground of international exchange, a stage of recognition for showing creativity and innovation for both local Canadian inventors and all international inventors.
Organized by Toronto International Society of Innovation & Advanced Skills (TISIAS), supported by Innovation Initiative Co-operative Inc. - "The Inventors' Circle", International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA), and World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA), iCAN 2017 is arguably the first international invention exhibition and global networking event ever created in Canada for worldwide inventors and it is the place of celebration for all achievements made by talented inventors of today’s generation. iCAN 2017 will be held in Toronto, Canada joined by both local and international creative forces from diverse industries.
iCAN 2017 provides all-around program including the display and exhibition of inventions, educational seminars followed by the awarding ceremony of recognizable invention entry applications. The event will serve as a great opportunity for all participants to be recognized for creativity through their inventions and also introduce their innovative products to the Canadian market. Participation to the competition is flexible with two different methods for all applicants: in-person & long-distance (see below section for details).
